Thing is, I really love that image with Johnny Depp.
Thank you for the generous reblogs
No, thank you. Actually smelled this today.
Even WORSE and more banal than you generously make out (the Chanel Bleu comparisons were very apposite).
In a word though:
SHIT
The thing is, the more we say it is shit, the more noise is generated and the better the campaign works. The Kardashian paradigm. So it’s better not to say anything (Yeap, this is how shit it is. You have to devise a strategy to protect yourself against it…)
Even so, when I lifted that (admittedly very nice) bottle in Yokohama today, I wasn’t QUITE imagining that horrifying a level of cheapness. It is becoming like science fiction. The levels have dipped so awfully, so rapidly, and no one seems to understand. It is like being one of the few original humans left in Invasion Of The Body Snatchers. I know it is only perfume. But it is also kind of terrifying.
I guess you haven’t read the press release where Sauvage (or Sausage as Alfarom named it) contains highest concentrations of superior quality natural ingredients like bergamot and ambroxane!!!!! sic…. for real…. I am not pulling your leg….
Thank you for this article, I think that the fragrances of Christian Dior are amazing.
They were.
