I’m glad you are still finding treasures! I sometimes stumble on some nice things here in São Paulo. I found an old bottle of Celui by Jean Dessès; the passage of time seems to have brought out its ambergris which I quite like.
Have you tried Sud Est by Romeo Gigli? Someone recommended it to me in my search for a bone-dry perfume. I’m experimenting with that type of perfume after my failures with florals (except for Gardenia for Men by Neil Morris).
YES : I remember Sud Est and it really was bone dry. Those kind of scents would smell really distinctive now, stand out, as nobody else is wearing them
