I thought, anyway, that I should repost this old piece I wrote about Oscar De La Renta, which always put me in mind, somehow, of the ludicrous, husky, Krystle Carrington – not realising until just a few moments ago that she already had her OWN PERFUME.

That’s hilarious. I wasn’t a big TV fan in the 80s but it was impossible not to be aware of Dynasty. I remember the fragrance Forever Krystle (or was it just Krystal? Am I confusing it with the book Forever Amber?) because I had a sample from somewhere. It intrigued me but I couldn’t wear that. I recall it was a very sweet ambery musk.
It HAD to be ! X
