  1. Oh, damn, what a gorgeous image. Must run to the fridge to drench myself again while Diorissimo is “in season” for me. Has anyone ever told you that you are a lovely man? Thank you.

I just read the original post which I must have missed. You found Diorissimo AND Inoui on the same day? I’m absolutely green with envy. Do you ever wear them, though?

    • You know what, I was on the phone to my mum the other day and she picked me up on something she had read on here where I said that I have never found Inoui at the flea markets. In fact, I had, and she had so liked the bottle shape itself (I didn’t, particularly), that she had taken it back with her to England. Yes, it was Inoui, and my heart did stop when I espied it there, BUT there were literally NO top or middle notes: : all was base. So for Inoui fanaticists it would possibly have been absolutely amazing, at the very least to boost the bottom parts of whatever rare dregs of this delightful perfume they had, but for me, I couldn’t really be arsed. Having known firsthand how gorgeous the original perfume was in all its shades,, I wasn’t interested in only its subconscious. But you are still right: to find this Diorissismo (most of which I have since decanted to other people in honesty, there isn’t much left now) and such a treasure as Inoui and both on the same day, is kind of amazing. I have to say though that recently such events are not really happening. There is a real desert. Perhaps me and a few other foreign maniacs have hoovered up the Japanese stock. This original post was from two years ago….
