4160 Tuesdays Four Mysteries: My Review
Homesick from Holland. All things bright and british. Especially after reading you and hearing Sarah. Wish I could cross the Channel and bury myself in an english comfort blanket. Need one desperately. Want one desperately for the 22nd of May, my 70th birthday, pleeeease. Did it, hang the overdraft!! Thank you, Ginza, there’s a dear.
Ordered the mystery parcel plus book! No e-book, a real one!
Very curiosity inducing!
Does it not just! What does one wear at her own 70th birthday party on a boat called Quo Vadis/The End of the World, manned by retired hippies? Chaaamaaade? Or Vintage Dior? Caron? Rochas? Under the hat I’ll certainly be wearing! Just now I’m feeling very black-and-a-touch-of-colour, always a girl’s last resort in whatever circumstance she finds herself in. And hanging between Oh, what a lovely party and Dear God, whatever can have possessed me to do it …What would you suggest, dear M. Ginza? Just now I have’nt a clue! Feeling very Shakespearean, watched the BBC remembrance show. King Lear is definitively out! Not nice for the guests! Did he reach 70 by the way? And the Tempest is for after the party, when I hopefully shall be rounded with a sleep. Translate all that into a perfume, not Out of Arabia, and maybe more than one. To do justice to the many layers of life. I never did layer perfume, maybe now is the moment to do it!
