Looks pretty quiet at that hour. Hope you have a nice relaxing evening & weekend! It’s 24C here at 9am, heading out for a bike ride. Feeling tuberosey in Hiram Green Moon Bloom. Very excited he has a new release next week, Vivacious: bergamot, violet, carnation, iris and amber.
I’m not much of a writer, but will be happy to share my thoughts once I’ve had a sniff. The shipment is in transit, hopefully in the next couple of weeks it will arrive in the shop!
The masks are tiresome but it is great that everyone is wearing them. We had zero deaths the other day – places like Brazil seem to be going in the other direction. I mean, only the most introverted social recluse actively likes wearing a mask (some Japanese people have always worn them year round): everyone else finds it oppressive. But a lot of people are now saying that this is precisely the reason that we haven’t thus far had the kind of pandemic you are having in the US, where being asked to do anything is immediately an infringement on a person’s freedom.
You are exactly correct. Wearing the masks makes a huge difference and the US, with its mentality (and ideology) of freedom and liberty has screwed up too many peoples minds, so that asking them to do the most simple thing to protect others is beyond them. You know it’s all about guns and freedoms here. That just makes me so sad.

Love the sound of that. How about doing a guest review ?

Well done getting through your first weel. I’m sure it was very stressful at times. Have a lovely weekend X
Thanks. You too. COMPLETELY exhausted.
Yay! Good for you! Hopefully, you will get through the ensuing weeks with flying colors. Enjoy your weekend.
Thanks Filomena. I am back in the fray now. No turning back! I hope you are one where you are.
We figgered you would.
Next week will be a (relative) breeze. The devil you know.
I enjoyed the interactions with students actually, and now the basic teachers’ rooms conditions have vastly improved, I feel much better about it all.
If only it weren’t for this killer virus!
If you need a little fortitude, just glance at the stats. You are still safer than most of the world. Thank heavens for that.
Huzzah! Now hopefully this week will be a walk in the park. Just keep yourself masked.
