I think I am still obsessed with Audrey Hepburn as well. The OG of L’Interdit that was made especially for her was a beautiful perfume. She was beautiful, elegant, charming, funny, cute caring and a good actress. They don’t make them like her any more!
I am not averse to Audrey either – she was absolutely unique. L’Interdit I never loved – but I know if across a pristine bottle I will buy it again. The rich, sandalwood musk base has wormed its way into my brain and I kind of miss it
Never saw the spoir but this is a bit of a lace and elderly shop for the kind of ladies who buy low level parasols – not the main culture by any means, although she was used fairly recently as an advert for a bank – and one of my former managers carried pictures of her around with him (not his wife)
Wow, I love this shop!
It was certainly rather curious and a must for the Audrophilic

She was born just round the corner (literally, one street corner) from where we used to live in Brussels.
That is a lot of Audrey in that shop though. Do you see anything like as much out and about on the street, or in popular culture more widely?
Btw what is the “spoir” on the sign way up in the top-left? Espoir? Désespoir?? Rather philosophical for a wrinkly shop sign.
