Nina, I like how our conversation after becomes part of the piece, like ivy growing from old cracks in the pyramid walls.. new stuff coming soon but in the meantime I felt like putting this up again.
Helen, anything to add on those wonderful days? Anyone else, somewhere in the world, add your graffiti to the pyramid ?
Neil, me too! And that’s a lovely description. I’ve only just seen this comment after adding a new post to it about my visit to the Caron at Harrods at the weekend! It’s nice to reread some of these conversations. The new stuff will come in time and be wonderful, but this is good too.
New post on the original thread…I went spritz-tastic that afternoon and on top of mucho Caron added Annick Goutal Nuit Etoilee, Ninfeo Mio, Etro Heliotrope, Etro Patchouly, Van Cleef & Arpels Bois D’Iris, Memo Granada, un peu de Fracas and Creed White Flowers! It was like Tokyo Monday all over, and my scarf is still pungent and delightful three days on x
Oh would love, merci. I think I did try that one; but will need to try it again. I have some stuff for you and will and send anon. Am back in London this weekend so will take another little tour of the Knightsbridge bazaar and haver back to the caron stall for more ponder and report x
I did add my “graffiti to the pyramid” but somehow it disappeared from this page?
Just wanted to say how pleased I am to see that you have reblogged another one of my absolute favorite posts that you have written! Truly struck a visceral nerve within me….write, my dear man, write a book!
Oh I figured out where my original comment is…on the other page that has many more comments! It is activated when one hits “read more…” You might want to check that out as others have left comments there as well!

I love that you like Caron. I might have to give you some of my namesake, Narcisse Noir
