Wow! Not only are you a great writer, you’re a good photographer as well. Reminds me of the photography work of Roger Ballen in the way it feels.
It’s a weird one this: we were filming, and I darted into a vintage kimono shop where the owner had these very expensive old Japanese masks. I got Yukiro to try one on but it intrigued me how it looked strangely natural, and melded.
Ps. Will have to check out Roger Ballen: I have never heard of him!
It does look strangely natural.
