     Definitely mourning: I just saw a picture of your perfume in the hallway as Duncan was painting; there happened to be the feathers next to it and I took it. As you know, I adore Black Swan. One day you should watch it here with me together. x

   Black feathers and tea rose
   Bien etonnees ( no accent; I always am at war with this particular pinctuation) de se trouver ensemble: but to me a combination of luxurious mourning and high tea flowering.
   Suits my mood to a t!!
   I think of you in the Far East: hold on as is written in big chalk letters in dutch “hou vol” on the street outside my window
