LA DAME AUX CAMELLIAS

I LOVED wearing vintage Parfum D’Hermes tonight.

I’m just not sure that anybody else did.

    A friend just loaned me her bottle of vintage Parfum d’Hermes and another gave me a sample of a current edition for comparison. A world of difference. The twain shall never meet. The vintage is GORGEOUS, soft, voluptuous. The current edition is an herbal stew. Ok, so the top notes have turned on the vintage version, but just wait a few minutes and luxuriate in the softest, purriest skin scent. Just curious, why didn’t your friends like it?

    Vibing with the eyeshadow look – very Pris from Blade Runner.

    Not sure about Parfum d’Hermes.

      Yes I trotted out Burning Bush for one of D’s performance event – forest theme so went with green

      It’s the hyacinth over powder and ylang over dirty amber that does it for me with the Hermes. Some say it is a big hair 80’s power scent but to me it is the natural evolution of Chamade. I love it, but it might be too lipsticky to many people ( though obviously not BB )

    OMG! I detected the chamade connection as well. That was what drew me in. Not a big hair 80’s power scent in the least. More like 70’s tail wind.
