Wow! What a wonderful list and read. I’ll have to come back to take it in bites, though I couldn’t resist rushing through the first time to take in as much as possible. I’m greedy and want it all *now*. It’s timely for me, too, as I’ve had jasmine on my mind. Today I’m wearing Molinard Jasmin, simple and pure and pretty. I think Floris Night Blooming Jasmine would be for me – I’m always up for an English idyll. And thank you for the warning about AG Le Jasmin. I loathe ginger in perfume. So many more to explore. 🙂
Molinard: love that house for inexpensive, but perfectly rendered simplicity. I would love to try that one actually.
I think you would like it. Simple and unadulterated – to my nose. And not heavily indolic. I can’t handle the thickly indolic scents (like Narcisse Noir). They make me feel queasy. I wish they didn’t. I love orange blossom and jasmine and white florals. I just need some air with them, a breeze. Molinard’s Jasmin is breezy enough for me.
I am the breezy type as well, which is why I have considered the Il Profumo Vent De Jasmin. It has that rush of air in it that lets the jasmine float.
Yippee,I have two on your wonderful list! Samsara and etat libre d’ orange..
Wow – utterly different jasmines. Interesting.
