A bit off topic I know but can you give me some advice re visiting Japan in March? We have booked and are longing to visit (from Australia and would fly into Haneda) but not sure how people in Japan are feeling about the Coronavirus. Are people in Tokyo freaking out? Just your general impression would help us…x
Thanks so much. We will probably cancel…try again after the Olympics. Last time we were in Japan we stayed in Shikoku in the Iya valley and also visited the Art Islands. Inujima and Tejima are really lovely and not as touristy as Naoshima which is a bit precious.
Stay safe and thanks.

Hilarious!
My mindset right now. I tried to take a quick selfie before work to check my appearance but somehow the light was so bright I was erased.
The Invisible Man.
You look like a heavenly being.
!
I am not.

Sorry…just read previous post…..Ann
Oh sorry…hadn’t read your comments on the previous post…sounds a bit like here….no one really knows what’s going on.
I personally wouldn’t, just to be safe, but people on the whole are repressing the fear
Duncan’s parents, brother, wife and four kids were due to come in March as well,,but have cancelled.
