I don’t quite know how he does it, but D somehow rustled up this delightful comic miniature Roaring Twenties piece this past week for an online Tokyo cabaret.
Sit back and enjoy.
I told you we were going to party.

Welllllll!!!!!! Whoa!!!!!!! Whatthedickens!!!!!
And all that with the tongue safely stowed away in the cheek.
My hair flew right up and stayed that way.
LlllllllllllllllooooooooooovvvvvvvvvveeeeeD
All the tulips from Amsterdam for the Act-ors and -resses! I would have worn the floor down with my stiletto heels applause.
Bravo. Braaaavaaaa
Not to forget the Decor.
AND the music. Encore. Encore. Encore.
The music – he stitched it together fantastically. Some Stravinsky here, some Yoko Ono or Moloko there : when he showed it me my pulse was racing with all the hysteria of it.
This was very well done and lots of fun to watch. Thanks for sharing it!
I couldn’t help myself : the silliness and levity of it is just the ticket for these hopefully brightening times !
So clever and charming, I love it!
Oh good. I find it really cute and charming as well. He has nailed some kind of light hearted innocence with it I think.
This was so wonderful!! I enjoyed everything about it, the actors, the music, the way it was filmed, everything!
D is so supremely talented, I am just amazed by the things he puts together. I also adore Burning Bush in a bob!!
Bravo, Bravo, Bravo!!
That man is a genius. Bloody brilliant.
Fantastic you also think so.
When he showed it to me I could hardly believe it : just an hour or so with me upstairs and the same with his friends in Kawasaki ( social distanced, everyone superimposed ): and then he made this hilarious rollicking caper our of it. I love the charming, ridiculous tone.
