  1. Dolls: Some are beautiful, some are creepy, some are funny. When I was a child my mother won a doll for me on the Boardwalk of Wildwood, New Jersey. She won it on the name “Tommy” and it was an infant doll swaddled in a blue blanket. I cherished my “Tommy Doll” until I was too old to play with dolls.

  2. I like the anime looking doll.

  3. Nelleke Oepkes aka Booknose

I also was not a doll child and now I know why! They all carry stilted expressions.
I had an antique one that looked like the black doll above and she had a very rare human expression. She was all craquelé and beautifully shaped. Personality. She was about 70 years old when I got her, just like a baby without clothing.
    Not to be fussed over!
I love the owly one right under the eagle eye of Black Narcissus!
Did you enjoy your utterly luxurious birthday extravaganza?

  4. I went to a beautiful toy museum in Germany and have loads of pictures of dolls!
