Spending a few days in the Atami hot springs for the therapeutic waters.
Can’t say no to a 5 dollar unopened parfum de toilette from a junk shop in the classic crystal flacon. Can’t wait to try it when we get home (I am not taking my chances with this one)
Have a great time whatever you are doing x
A belated Merry Xmas!
That crystal; flacon alone was worth the price. I have an aunt in Boca Raton for whom Bal a Verailles is a signature scent. I always pick her up a bottle wherever I see it. Quite heady in the humid Floridian heat. Judging by her vast collection of bottles, Bal a Versailles suffers no ill effect from the wrath of age. Much like my aunt, whom is married to her 7th Texas oil billionaire husband.

$5! You lucky boy! I hope it smelled wonderful on your skin. And hot springs! That would feel so good in our 12 degree weather. I wore vintage Miss Dior for Christmas and sprayed Dawn’s Gold Leaf in the bath. It is my favorite of all her creations. Merry Christmas Neil, and here’s hoping the New Year brings us all some joy and peace.
Merry Christmas and Happy Boxing Day! I tried Bal a Versailles for the first time in 2020 — wow! Enjoy your find, and a Happy New Year.
Have a ball with D a la Ginza

Wow, I would love to find a small bottle of this for that prize. I wore Fille en Aiguilles and it even snowed a bit at midnight
Score!

Damn, I wish I was typing that.
Well, glad you’re there, at least. What a balm.
All the best to you and Duncan. Ric and I will make do with cold turkey (literally) and leftover stuffing . . .
What a wonderful treat that must have been, going to an onsen. Hope the water helped ease the pain in your right arm.
Wow!!! Such a wonderful find!!! BaV in that bottle is such a glorious treasure to find.
I wore Caron Nuit de Noel and Voeux de Noel on Christmas eve and Christmas day. Yesterday and today I am wearing Fete de Molyneux.
Forgive the lack of accents, I just cant seem to get the laptop to cooperate.
