Understood. I went to Paris recently. I was so impressed with their perfume ranges. For instance, Hermes sold collections that do not appear in the UK. I also loved the way they market their products. By this I mean they sold smaller volumes of perfume, which made it more accessible and affordable to try and buy. So rather than spend say £80 on a bottle, you could buy smaller ‘roll on’ ranges of say Miss Dior for about £40 – though you may disagree with roll on perfume! They gave out loads of samples when you purchased products too. I particularly liked Sephora (which we had in the UK once).
You take the best photos of anyone…meaningful, contemplative, artistic, provocative, anti, pro, (“feelings” at our best or worst…which are almost exactly the same thing).
Great picture! I love photographs of this kind, caught at the magic moment.
Autumn is approaching with its fabulous streaming flatlights
As you know, I want permanent summer but it IS beautiful – that transitional period
Brilliant pic! Love that it was captured like this.
It looks terrifying upside down.
I’ve just saved and rotated the pic. And you’re right – absolutely terrifying!
You ought to have a blog solely for your photos.
But I quite like peppering the perfumes with photographs too.

Love this photo.
Thanks. It is mysterious, but strangely calming, I thought.

The photo is amazing.
Your talent knows no limits…
Can’t wait to buy your book. Will you visit NYC for book launch?
I would absolutely love to (my dad took this, by the way as I am actually in Japan). Will see what the publishers say!
