  1. So excited – a surreal way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I have liked her since I was sixteen and we are going to DANCE OUR ASSES OFF

Marvellous! Happy dancing. Btw I tried Ambre Lumière and found it a nice amber, chockablock with lavender. But it was a virtually empty tester in HoF so perhaps the dosage was wrong or the scent changed? I notice you mention black pepper, which might contribute.

    Sounds fascinating!
I managed to buy a bit less than 1/2 a bottle of Vanilia (50 ml bottle) on Ebay Germany, and was more than mighty pleased. That’s thanks to your reviews and, truth be told, Luca Turin’s. I’ve an appointment with the minister tomorrow: perhaps I should be daring …

    • It is so light and lovely I think – a touch could only help, surely

I opted for Goutal Grand Amour in the end. I like the raspy scent of narcissus.
Today, I splashed a huge amount of vintage No 19 extrait over me, finally emptying the small 7.5 ml bottle I‘ve been using for ages. That generosity was due to the fact that I really want to open the other bottle I bought some time ago (also vintage stuff).
